A written composition has ever been, in general, only a written piece of prose that introduces the writer’s argument, but on occasion the definition is uncertain, overlapping with that of a paper, book, pamphlet, a short story, and an ordinary letter. Traditional essays have always been formal and academic. But there have been many informal written functions that have been submitted for publication, including books, stories, songs, jokes, and poems. From the classic written essay the writer is needed to write an introduction. This is the part where the author presents his thesis statement or subject. The thesis statement could be a very interesting subject, occasionally based on scientific proof, sometimes not. The introduction has to be able to clearly specify the writer’s point of view, what he’s suggesting, and why readers should care.

The next paragraph of this written essay usually includes four paragraphs, all four to eight words in length. It’s written in such a way as to show the reader how they can contribute to the decision by accepting or rejecting the main thesis statement. The writer has used the most important terms and definitions from the first two paragraphs to begin the discussion; now it is time to make the case for acceptance.

The transition phrases between paragraphs explain the true content of the third and second paragraphs.
